Thrown into a turmoil of historical circumstances, many a lost soul suffers fear and pain,
interrupted by glimpses of hope, only to part again or to part forever. Life appears like
a dream, turns into a nightmare of death and desperate longing, and the survivor carries
eternal guilt. It may seem like it’s all over now, but history repeats itself in cycles…

Darkwood return with a neofolk album on a dark subject with some light and hope here
and there. The 10 forceful songs with their rich instrumentation of acoustic guitars,
classical instruments, keyboards, and drums draw the listener into a time travel through
the last century.

The CD comes in a digipak with 16-page booklet, the LP comes in a gatefold with transparent vinyl both exhibiting beautiful artwork emphasized by historical photographs.
