LES PARADISIERS – MORE TALES FROM THE GARDEN – LP

Les Paradisiers are the comingling of Demian (the man behind Mediterranean folk/cabaret act Ô Paradis) and Thomas Nöla. The union came about after the two met while performing at a festival in Leipzig, Germany in 2007. Later that year, they performed together for the first time in Barcelona’s Cafè-Teatre Llantiol and decided to work on a project together.

The resulting album, 2009’s “More Tales From the Garden” resulted in a collection of “modern exotica” concerning the question of paradise, and marked a bit poppier, more accessible sound than their previous solo releases. The duo held a mini-tour of the United States in early 2010, playing in Cambridge, MA’s The Lily Pad and Philadelphia’s Germ Books &Gallery.

Presented as a vinyl + digital download set, the debut from Ô Paradis/Thomas Nöla lovechild Les Paradisiers creates an exotic jungle of fear giving way to ecstacy, perdition meeting paradise. Available on LP with download code.
